Dental Hygienist and/or Oral Health Therapist

About the Role

As a Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist at Accolade Dental, you will work closely with our dentists, oral health therapists, and clinical support team to deliver comprehensive preventive oral healthcare. You will play a key role in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral and gingival health by providing evidence-based care tailored to each individual's needs. Through patient education, preventive treatment, and ongoing support, you will contribute to positive long-term oral health outcomes while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

You will play an integral role in delivering exceptional patient care while building long-term relationships through education, prevention, and ongoing oral health support.

Working within a purpose-built, technology-driven practice, you will be supported by advanced systems and a team that values preparation, communication, and attention to detail.

Our clinic features a fully integrated digital workflow, including:





· AirFlow® Guided Biofilm Therapy

· Digital intraoral scanners

· CBCT imaging and 3D X-ray technology

· In-house 3D printing

· Clear aligner systems

· Face Braces® technology

· Boutique teeth whitening systems, including POLA® and Zoom®

Key Responsibilities

· Establish excellent communication with patients

· Deliver a consistently high standard of evidence-based dental hygiene care.

· Provide comprehensive oral assessment and hygiene treatments

· Deliver preventive dental care and tailored oral health education

· Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and long-term preventive care

· Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to infection control standards

· Collaborate closely with dentists and the wider team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes

· Contribute to a positive, welcoming, and patient-centred clinical environment

About You

You are a compassionate and motivated clinician with a genuine passion for preventive dentistry and patient-centred care. You are committed to delivering outstanding clinical outcomes while creating positive, comfortable experiences for patients of all ages. Through your professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail, you build strong patient trust and contribute to a welcoming and supportive environment.

We’re looking for someone who demonstrates:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills





· A professional, compassionate, and patient-centred approach

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

· The ability to work collaboratively within a highly motivated team environment

· A minimum commitment of 25 hours per week, casual or part-time employment can be negotiated.

· Availability to work on Saturdays is essential

Preferred (but not essential):

· 3–5 years of clinical experience

· New graduates who are enthusiastic, willing to learn and committed to delivering exceptional patient care are encouraged to apply.

· Experience using D4W practice management software

· Orthodontic experience (higher remuneration will be considered for suitable candidates)

Requirements:

· Recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene and/or Oral Health Therapy

· Current AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist and/or Oral Health Therapy
