Wisely is seeking experienced Shutdown Supervisor to join our team and support ongoing CHPP shutdowns across the Bowen Basin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can confidently coordinate crews, manage competing priorities and deliver shutdown scopes safely, efficiently and to schedule. With an ongoing pipeline of work, this role offers the opportunity to build a strong, long-term relationship with Wisely and our mining clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate CHPP shutdown crews and maintenance work scopes
- Supervise trades and contractors to ensure works are delivered safely and to schedule
- Coordinate multiple work fronts and effectively manage changing priorities
- Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings, risk assessments and field leadership activities
- Monitor progress and proactively address operational issues
- Liaise with client representatives, Wisely management and site teams
- Ensure compliance with site safety systems, permits, isolations and SWMS
- Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Supervisor within mining or heavy industrial environments
- Strong understanding of CHPP maintenance and shutdown activities




- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary crews in a fast-paced shutdown environment
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
- S1, S2, S3 & G2 - essential
- S22 Supervisor Qualification - essential
- Australian-recognised trade qualification
- Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (or be willing to obtain)
