About the Role

Due to unprecedented demand, PremiAir has a full-time, permanent position available with an immediate start for a committed, reliable, and flexible Service Technician/Mechanic with experience in the equipment rental industry, to join our busy depot located in Chinchilla, QLD.

The main responsibility of the role is to service and maintain a wide variety of hire equipment both in the workshop and on customer sites.

Duties

- The repair, service and maintenance of our hire fleet of equipment PremiAir and OEM standards

- On-site servicing and repairs as required

- Fault finding on all diesel engines and compressors

- Other appropriate duties as directed

- Administrative tasks relevant to the position

Skills and Experience

You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- Applicants must be based in Australia

- Applicants must have permanent working rights in Australia





- Trade Qualifications – Diesel Mechanic or similar is essential with strong fault finding and problem-solving skills

- Forklift licence and white card is preferred

- Disconnect/re-connect electrical licence will be well regarded

- Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills Can work unsupervised and listen and follow instructions

- Has a strong team mind-set and a willingness to learn recent products

- Can work overtime, including weekends when required and work an on-call roster

- Is reliable, punctual with excellent work ethics

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicants will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
