This is a Permanent Full Time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight.
Position Profile: The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Information System Manager to join our Paediatric Critical Care team at Perth Children's Hospital. Driven by our vision of "Healthy kids, healthy communities," we provide comprehensive, family-centred care to children across Western Australia. Working in paediatric critical care presents unique and sensitive challenges, but it offers the profound reward of making a life-altering impact on young patients and their families. In this vital leadership role, you will be supported by a highly collaborative environment that champions our core values.
To excel in bridging the gap between technology and patient centred care, you will leverage your significant clinical experience in a tertiary hospital and deep knowledge of intensive care unit (ICU) or critical care clinical workflows. Your primary focus will be providing expert clinical knowledge to implement and support the Paediatric Critical Care Clinical Information System (PCC CIS), ensuring vital clinical and research processes are seamlessly incorporated. We are looking for a professional with highly developed computer application skills who can coordinate user training, provide essential bedside support, and facilitate critical data extraction for research and quality assurance. If you possess exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, this is a unique opportunity to use data-driven excellence to directly support those who save lives.
