We are seeking an Inventory Control Officer to join our team on a 15-month fixed-term contract, concluding in November 2027.

The Inventory Control Officer provides support to the Operations, Maintenance and Engineering departments through effective inventory control, material supply and day-to-day warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

- Liaises with internal stakeholders to provide support with inventory requirements.
- Build and maintain skilled working relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth supply of parts and equipment.
- Perform warehouse tasks in accordance with Company standards including:
- Maintaining inventory spare levels (minimum, maximum, etc.)
- Stock replenishment utilising SAP MRP (order and receipt).
- Receiving goods into Stores on a daily basis in compliance with internal goods receipting process
- Assist with unloading of goods in accordance with HSE procedures.
- Issuing stock from store.
- Arrange site transport/freight requirements.

- Assist with the optimisation of stock spares to ensure long-term unit reliability.
- Ensure adherence to delegated financial authorities and accounting principles.
- Support the Outage Team during outages, including staging and logistics.
- Provide inventory assistance to the Maintenance and Operations Teams in day-to-day activities.
- Maintain high standard of Stores housekeeping.
- Conduct weekly audits of site waste bins and action accordingly.
- Actively participate in toolbox meetings,



risk/hazard assessments, incident investigations and audits.
- Ensure dangerous goods (DGs) are listed on DG license before being brought onto site.
- Make sure all chemical handling and unloading procedures are updated and adhered to, including correct storage of chemicals.

Attributes:

- Comply with Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Management, Risk Management and Quality Assurance systems and processes
- Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently and accurately
- Ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision and work effectively in cross-functional team

Desirable:

- Experience in Inventory Control/Warehousing in a heavy industry (highly desirable)
- Computer literacy using a variety of systems including SAP and Microsoft Office
- Forklift ticket / license
- Australian Drivers Licence (essential)
