This is for Permanent Part-Time appointment at 40 hours per fortnight.

What is our Registered Nurse role?

This position is a member of a Tertiary Nursing Outpatient Team and is responsible for providing clinical and qualified expertise to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care within the outpatient setting. The role promotes patient safety, quality improvement, and excellence in patient care, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred services. Demonstrated knowledge and experience across a range of outpatient services is preferred including Gynaecology, Colposcopy, Oncology, Urology, Sexual Health, Procedural Clinics, Fertility, Pre-admission Clinics, Endometriosis, and Menopause Clinics. The position contributes to effective patient assessment, care coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration in accordance with organisational policies, skilled standards, and best practice guidelines.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service or the wider public service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
