Trades Assistant – Insulation

Port Kembla NSW | $40 per hour + Super + Overtime | 5–6 days per week

We are looking for a Trades Assistant to join an established insulation business in Port Kembla. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys being on-site, working with their hands and supporting experienced tradespeople.

The Role

Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will assist with insulation installation and general site activities, including:

- Assisting tradespeople with insulation installation and removal

- General labouring and manual handling

- Loading, unloading and moving materials

- Using basic hand tools and equipment

- Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe

- Supporting site safety requirements

- Following instructions and working as part of a team

What You’ll Need

- White Card – essential





- Current Driver’s Licence – essential

- Previous construction, labouring, insulation or similar experience

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

- Reliable, punctual and willing to work 5–6 days per week

- Valuable attitude and strong work ethic

- Ability to work safely on active construction sites
