Our client is a well-established business operating within the food manufacturing and FMCG sector.

About Your New Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the Production and Warehouse functions, taking responsibility for the overall operational performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on people, performance, safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and develop Production and Warehouse teams, driving accountability and high performance.
- Own production performance across productivity, yield, waste, downtime and schedule adherence.
- Ensure effective flow of materials, inventory and finished goods across the operation.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Champion food safety, quality, WHS and compliance across the operation.
- Work closely with Maintenance and Engineering to improve operational reliability.
- Use data and structured problem solving to identify opportunities and drive sustainable improvements.
- Build leadership capability through coaching, performance management and development.
- Work collaboratively across the business to deliver operational priorities and business objectives.

About You




You are an experienced Operations leader with a strong background in high-volume food manufacturing or FMCG.
Ideally, you will have:

- 5+ years' senior Operations Management experience.
- Proven experience leading managers and multi-functional operational teams.
- Strong Production and Warehouse experience.
- Practical Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.
- Strong understanding of operational performance, productivity, yield, waste and downtime.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety systems is essential.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, change management and people leadership skills.
- The confidence to challenge the status quo and hold teams accountable.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
