About the Role

As an experienced MR or HR licensed driver, you will operate out of our Muswellbrook Depot. You will be responsible for safe delivery utilizing a small tanker of LPG product to both domestic and commercial sites. You will be working within a regional team to support not just Muswellbrook but the Northern NSW REGION so at times you may also be called upon to support the wider driver network during times of increased workload and leave period.

In-depth training and support will be provided to help prepare and inform you of the requirements surrounding in your roles and responsibilities; safety, standards, policies and procedures to name a few.

Your Duties Will Include:

- Operate and maintain our LPG distribution tanker within compliance standards, regulations & Elgas policy
- Complete vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle are fit for service, clean & presentable
- Ensure vehicle and safety equipment documentation is up to date at all times
- Report all incidents to the Customer Service Manager
- Active co-operation & adherence to dispatch/schedulers and timely delivery of paperwork




- Reporting site compliance issues and conduct gas checks when required
- Internal and external liaison with customers in a skilled manner
- Safety awareness and execution according to all regulations associated with the position
- Flexibility, preparedness and responsive to service demand
- Cooperation with branch staff in servicing customers, completion of work, flexibility of responding to demand, preparedness to work overtime and, contributing to a positive workplace environment
- Be safety conscious and abide by all regulations associated with the position

Skills and Experience:

- Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle licence with a clear driving history
- DG licence - advantageous
- Safety conscience and process discipline is a must
- Previous experience working within a depot - advantageous
- General maintenance experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Handheld computer usage or willing to learn
- Ability to work overtime on occasion
- Customer Focused
