Your new role:
As an Advanced Clinical Occupational Therapist, you will provide specialised hand therapy services while supporting clinical excellence, professional development and service improvement across the Occupational Therapy team. You will:
- Deliver advanced, specialised hand therapy assessment, treatment and consultancy services.
- Provide clinical leadership, advice and mentoring to Occupational Therapists and allied health staff.
- Manage complex patients using advanced professional judgement and patient-centred care.
- Support clinical education, supervision and skills development of less experienced clinicians and students.
- Lead the development of evidence-based clinical practices, protocols and innovative models of care.
- Contribute to quality improvement, research, service evaluation and knowledge translation.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who can bring advanced clinical expertise and a collaborative approach to the role, with:
- Registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Advanced clinical expertise in Occupational Therapy, ideally within specialist hand therapy.
- Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring and professional leadership.
- The ability to lead service improvement, clinical protocol development and research initiatives.
- A commitment to safe, compassionate and patient-centred care.
