About the Position

This is a Senior Mechanical Engineer opportunity supporting the FEED phase of UK based Project, with the work being delivered from our clients Perth office. The role will focus on mechanical engineering and materials handling design, with particular emphasis on conveyor systems and dry crushing and screening plant design.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide senior mechanical engineering support throughout the FEED phase of the project.
- Develop and review mechanical designs, specifications and engineering documentation.
- Provide technical input into materials handling systems and associated equipment.
- Undertake and review conveyor design and engineering activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure mechanical designs are integrated effectively.
- Review technical documentation, equipment specifications and vendor information.
- Support engineering deliverables,



design reviews and technical evaluations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant project specifications, standards and engineering requirements.

Experience Required

- Senior-level Mechanical Engineering experience within mining, minerals processing or major resources projects.

Strong materials handling experience is essential.
- Strong experience with Sidewinder conveyor design is essential.
- Proven experience in dry crushing and screening plant design is required.
- Experience delivering mechanical engineering packages through FEED or detailed design phases.
- Strong understanding of mechanical equipment selection, specification and integration.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
