Are you passionate about sport and ready to make a real impact? We're looking for a PR Manager – Sport to work closely with Fox Sports and Kayo Sports - Australia's leading and most innovative sports streaming service - delivering exceptional content to millions of sports fans!

In this role, you'll partner with our sports teams, athletes, and partners to elevate the visibility and reputation of our brand across multiple platforms. You'll craft and execute strategic communication plans that raise the profile of our talent, events, and initiatives.

Working collaboratively with ambassadors and stakeholders, you'll create engaging content, manage high-profile events, and secure valuable media coverage that reaches and influences new audiences. Your storytelling expertise will help showcase the talent, innovation, and diverse sporting content that sets Fox Sports and Kayo Sports apart.

Success in this role means driving share of voice in media, connecting with recent audiences, and shining a spotlight on the breadth of sport we offer.

This is a unique opportunity for a sports media professional with a passion for storytelling to shape how we engage with fans and the wider public.

Key Responsibilities

- Publicity and Relationship Management: Leverage relationships with partners, stakeholders, and your media network to secure coverage and drive viewership for sports on Fox Sports and Kayo, with a focus on AFL and Cricket
- Talent Management:



Partner with agents and managers of both established and emerging talent to promote Fox Sports’ world-class talent and ambassadors through proactive and reactive media opportunities across various platforms.
- Earned-First Storytelling: Push creative boundaries to craft and leverage compelling stories across channels, reaching broader audiences and fuelling new opportunities for growth.
- Strategy and Creativity Support: Create and execute impactful PR campaigns that support the overall publicity strategy, staying inspired by trends in the sports world and seeking fresh ways to engage audiences.

About your experience

- 5 years + sports communications, PR, or media relations, with a strong background in managing high-profile campaigns or working with major sports teams/organisations (AFL, Cricket highly desirable)
- Proven ability to manage crisis situations with calmness, professionalism, and a strategic approach.
- Understands how to navigate the world of publicity from talent to schedules to interviews to big season launches – you have done it all but are always pushing boundaries and learning from one to the next.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities,



especially during sports seasons or events.
- Storytelling and editorial expertise - We’re looking for someone who consumes and engages with the media and culture on a daily basis, loves to talk about it, write about it and share it with others.
- A natural inquisitiveness, always seeking new insights and innovative ways to drive the business forward
- Deep understanding and experience within the sports media landscape and a passion for crafting narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, from traditional sports fans to those exploring new forms of content.
