We’re representing a well-established Brisbane electrical company looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the business during a strong period of growth.

This is a key leadership role for someone who still enjoys being involved technically but is ready to take greater ownership over projects, people, quality, and client relationships.

The company operates across medical, industrial, commercial fit-out, data, and security projects throughout Brisbane and surrounding regions. With a strong pipeline of work already secured, they’re looking for someone who can step in, lead crews confidently, and help support the next stage of the business.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for supervising electrical installation and fit-out projects, coordinating trades and apprentices, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring work is delivered safely and efficiently.

The role will include:

- Supervising electricians and apprentices across multiple projects
- Coordinating daily site activities, labour, materials, and project requirements
- Managing electrical installations in line with AS/NZS 3000
- Managing medical electrical installations in line with AS/NZS 3003
- Overseeing data, communications, and security installation work
- Liaising professionally with clients, builders, subcontractors, and site teams
- Ensuring testing, documentation, paperwork, and handovers are completed properly
- Maintaining high safety, workmanship, and presentation standards
- Identifying issues early and taking ownership of resolving them
- Supporting the business owner with project delivery and team development
- Remaining hands-on when required





This isn’t a role for someone who needs to be constantly directed. The business is looking for a capable supervisor who can take responsibility, make decisions, and lead from the front without bringing ego or arrogance into the team.

About You

You’ll ideally be an experienced electrical supervisor or leading hand who is ready to take the next step into a broader leadership position.

You may also suit this role if you’ve previously considered running your own business but would prefer the responsibility and influence without having to take on the financial risk, administration, and pressure of business ownership.

The successful candidate will ideally have:





- A Queensland electrical licence
- Previous supervisory or leading-hand experience
- Experience working on medical electrical installations
- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3003
- Experience with data, communications, and security systems
- Strong installation and fault-finding capability
- The ability to manage electricians and apprentices effectively
- Excellent client communication and personal presentation
- Strong attention to paperwork, compliance, and project documentation
- A practical, calm, and solutions-focused leadership style
- A current Australian driver’s licence

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who takes ownership, communicates properly, and holds yourself and your team to a high standard.
