THE ROLE:

Experienced Small Engine Mechanic with strong knowledge of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining gasoline and diesel-powered equipment, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, pumps, and other outdoor power equipment. Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, performing preventative maintenance, and delivering high-quality customer service. Committed to workplace safety, equipment reliability, and efficient repair turnaround times.

ABOUT YOU

It is a requirement of the job that you be a qualified Small Engine Mechanic.

You must also have a high attention to detail and be able to work in a team environment.

Your ability to work with minimal supervision within a team environment, display a positive & self-motivated attitude and be able to demonstrate sound problem-solving skills will have you well suited to this rewarding and exciting position.

- Be physically fit,

- Can pass a drug and alcohol test,

Professional Experience

- Diagnosed and repaired small engines for commercial customers.





- Performed routine servicing on chainsaws, concrete saws, brush cutters, generators, and pumps.

- Rebuilt engines, replaced worn components, and conducted system testing to ensure operational performance.

- Diagnosed electrical, ignition, fuel, and hydraulic system faults.

- Maintained accurate service records and repair documentation.

- Assisted company with equipment operation and maintenance recommendations.

- Ensured compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
