EXPERIENCED ROOF PLUMBER

$60–$70 per hour + Super

AD Construction & Maintenance are looking for an experienced Roof Plumber to join our crew.

This role is ideally suited to a positive Roof Plumber who wants to expand their skill set beyond roofing.

Roofing and cladding will be a major part of the role, but you will also work alongside our crew doing rigging, structural steel erection, shed building, crane work and other facets of commercial and industrial construction.

You don't need to already be experienced in all of these areas. If you're a genuinely good Roof Plumber with the right attitude, we can teach you the rest.

We aren't looking for the cheapest person we can find. We want someone who is genuinely good at their trade, productive, reliable and takes pride in their work.

THE WORK

Our work is varied and includes:

- Commercial and industrial roofing

- Roof and wall cladding

- Flashings, gutters and downpipes

- Insulation and roof blanket

- Commercial and industrial shed construction

- Structural steel erection

- Rigging and dogging

- Crane work and multi-crane lifts

- Working from EWPs and boom lifts

- General commercial and industrial construction

- Metro and away projects

This isn't a role where you'll be doing the same thing every day.

For someone who enjoys construction and wants to become more broadly skilled, there is plenty of opportunity to learn from an experienced crew and get involved in some interesting and technically challenging projects.

WHO WE WANT

You need to be an experienced Roof Plumber who can actually get in and get the job done.

We are looking for someone who is:

- Highly productive

- Experienced with commercial roofing and cladding

- Confident measuring,



cutting and installing flashings

- Comfortable working at heights

- Reliable

- Physically capable

- Able to work without being constantly supervised

- Particular about the finished product

- Keen to learn new skills

- Able to communicate like a normal human being

Commercial shed building experience is highly regarded.

Experience with rigging, dogging, welding, structural steel or operating machinery is also a big advantage, but none of it is essential if you're a quality Roof Plumber and willing to learn.

OUR CREW

We genuinely enjoy what we do, have a laugh on site and maintain a good atmosphere, but we also maintain a very high level of productivity and workmanship.

If you're constantly on your phone, unreliable, need to be pushed all day, or think $70/hr means you can cruise around looking busy, this isn't going to work.

If you're bloody good at what you do, you'll fit in well and we're prepared to pay accordingly.

$60–$70 PER HOUR + SUPER

Where you sit in that range will depend on your experience, productivity and what you can bring to the crew.

If you're genuinely exceptional and bring additional skills, we're happy to have that conversation.

This is a long-term position, not just filling a gap for one project.

We have plenty of work ahead and are looking for someone who can become a permanent part of the crew.
