As a Graduate Supply Chain Planner, you will gain hands-on experience across end-to-end supply chain operations, working alongside experienced professionals and building the skills required for a successful career in planning, manufacturing, and operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Materials Planning
- Monitor inventory levels and material requirements to support production plans.
- Create and maintain purchase requisitions and supply plans within ERP systems.
- Track supplier deliveries and proactively manage material shortages and supply risks.
- Support inventory optimisation initiatives to improve stock availability and reduce waste.
- Assist in resolving material availability issues impacting production.
Production Scheduling
- Support the development and maintenance of production schedules.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to align schedules with available capacity, labour, and materials.
- Monitor schedule adherence and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist with schedule changes driven by customer demand, inventory constraints, or operational requirements.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse inventory, service level, and production performance data.
- Support forecasting and demand planning activities.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate key supply chain metrics.
- Identify trends, risks,
and improvement opportunities through data analysis.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to Lean and Continuous Improvement projects.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve data accuracy.
- Support the implementation of new supply chain tools, systems, and technologies.
Logistics
- Coordinate and support transport operations to ensure products are delivered safely, on time, and in full, including scheduling freight movements, managing transport bookings, and liaising with carriers.
- Collaborate across the supply chain with production, warehouse, customer service, and planning teams to support inventory flow, stock availability, and overall supply chain performance.
