- Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
- $77,483 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 5 + Site) + Superannuation

About the Role
Fitzroy River Water is seeking an experienced Plant Operator/Labourer to support the construction, maintenance, and operational activities essential to delivering reliable water and sewerage services to our community.
If you hold current competency in Skid Steer, Excavator, and Backhoe operation, we'd love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to maintaining critical infrastructure across the region.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What you’ll do
- Operate trucks and plant such as excavators, backhoes and skid steers
- Carry out civil construction tasks including pipe laying and basic concreting
- Maintain and repair water and sewer infrastructure, including hydrants, valves and mains
- Perform basic servicing of equipment and report defects or safety issues
- Work safely using hand tools while supporting a multi-skilled team
What we are looking for
- Strong labouring background
- MR Licence and ability to legally operate an excavator, backhoe and skid steer
- Safety focused and the ability to identify hazards and risks on the worksite
