Elevate Energy has secured a multitude of long-term projects and are currently seeking Sand Quarry Operators to join our team based out of Darwin, Northern Territory. We are looking for candidates with a can-do attitude, who can work autonomously and safely.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Sand Quarry Operator to join our quarry operations team based in the Darwin region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking for a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off roster, providing a great balance between work and personal life.

Working as part of our quarry operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant and supporting day-to-day sand quarry activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating loaders, conveyors and other mobile plant

- Loading sand and quarry products into road trains and trucks

- Managing stockpiles and maintaining quarry work areas

- Operating plant safely and efficiently to meet production requirements

- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and equipment checks

- Reporting equipment faults and assisting with basic maintenance





- Maintaining safe haul roads, stockpile areas and quarry work zones

- Following site safety, environmental and operational procedures

- Working as part of a professional and safety-focused team

- Assisting with general quarry duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience operating heavy mobile plant

- Has experience in quarrying, mining, earthmoving or civil construction

- Is competent and confident operating a loader, conveyor & sand washing plant

- Holds a current driver's licence

- Holds relevant plant tickets or competencies

- Has a strong commitment to safety

- Is reliable, physically fit and able to work outdoors in Northern Territory conditions

- Can work independently and as part of a team

- Takes pride in maintaining equipment and achieving production targets

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug screen, and national police clearance

Previous sand quarry experience will be highly regarded.
