Watersure, a joint venture between SUEZ and Ventia, operates and maintains the Victorian Desalination Plant (VDP), Australia's largest desalination facility and a critical part of Victoria's water security.

Located in Wonthaggi on the Bass Coast, the VDP provides a reliable, climate-resilient water supply to Victoria. Under our contract with Aquasure through to 2039, Watersure is responsible for the safe, reliable and effective operation and maintenance of this world-class asset.

About the Role

As the Facility Management Coordinator, you will ensure site facilities remain safe, compliant, efficient and well maintained. You will coordinate facilities services, building maintenance, site access, reception, security, fleet operations, contractor management and general operational support.

This is a hands-on role suited to a highly organised professional who enjoys working with a diverse range of stakeholders and delivering quality services that support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality

- Promote Watersure's Zero Harm culture.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and company procedures.
- Support audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with ISO and management system requirements.

Facilities & Site Services

- Coordinate maintenance and presentation of buildings, amenities and common areas.
- Manage cleaning and facilities contractors.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate corrective maintenance works.
- Support upgrades to site infrastructure, signage, lighting and access areas.

Site Access, Reception & Security





- Coordinate reception and visitor management.
- Manage site access, inductions and associated records.
- Oversee security systems and contractor performance.

Fleet & Contractor Management

- Coordinate fleet vehicles, ATVs and transport assets.
- Ensure contractors comply with safety, permit and site requirements.
- Monitor service delivery and maintain reporting documentation.

Planning & Continuous Improvement

- Track service requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Support workforce planning during shutdowns and peak periods.
- Prepare facilities performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.

About You

Qualifications

- Qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Operations, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Current Australian Class C Driver Licence.
- First Aid or relevant certifications desirable.

Experience & Skills

- Experience in facilities coordination, contractor management or operational support.
- Exposure to utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing or industrial environments is advantageous.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
