About the role:

Our client is a well-known enterprise that’s going through a large amount of growth and has had a lot of investment recently, so they’re looking to bring on an Azure Platform Engineer to join the team.

You'll be joining a team that's investing heavily in Platform Engineering and cloud transformation, with a lot of focus on modernising the way infrastructure is delivered and managed. A big part of the role will be helping move the organisation further away from traditional ClickOps and manual configuration towards a fully automated Infrastructure as Code approach using Terraform.

There's also plenty of opportunity to get involved in building out and maturing the Azure platform itself. Think Landing Zones, networking, security, governance, identity, reusable platform patterns and creating the foundations that development teams can consume in a secure, scalable and consistent way.

Rather than simply deploying infrastructure, you'll be helping build the platform capabilities, standards and automation that enable engineering teams to move faster while maintaining the right level of governance and control.

What you will work on:

- Design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale cloud platforms across Azure




- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for provisioning and orchestration
- Building out Azure Landing zones, networks, security RBACs etc.
- Create reusable platform components, including: Terraform modules, Shared services, Developer self-service capabilities
- Contribute to internal developer platform initiatives and engineering standards

Your Experience:

- Proven experience as a Senior Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineer in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience working on Azure Cloud Infrastructure
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (essential)
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Solid scripting and automation skills using Python and PowerShell
- Solid understanding of cloud platform engineering, orchestration, and automation-first principles
