Join Cavalier Homes Albury-Wodonga as a Residential Project Manager

Are you an experienced residential construction Project Manager ready to move beyond individual sites and influence the performance of an entire project portfolio? Cavalier Homes is seeking a confident and commercially aware Project Manager to lead coordinated delivery across our residential construction program.

Reporting to the Construction Manager / General Manager, you will maintain oversight of program, cost, quality, safety, trade capacity and client outcomes. This is a hands-on role for someone who can identify risk early, make sound decisions and ensure actions are followed through.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate delivery of a portfolio of residential projects from construction handover through practical completion and close-out.

- Maintain schedules, program and forward workload forecast, responding early to critical-path, trade, material and resource constraints.

- Coordinate trade and supplier capacity and address recurring performance, quality, safety and scheduling issues.

- Oversee project budgets, forecast costs and margin, purchase orders, invoices, variations, recharges and emerging cost risks.

- Maintain stage-gate quality assurance, regulatory compliance, handover standards and timely defect close-out.

- Adhere to WHS/OHS and project risk management, including inspections, incident actions and site controls.

- Manage escalated client and stakeholder matters and keep communication between site and office teams accurate and consistent.

- Maintain accurate Companion programs, forecasts, risks, approvals and records, using performance trends to drive improvement.

What We're Looking For

- Typically 7-10 years' residential construction experience, with demonstrated success across multiple concurrent builds.

- At least 3 years in a Site Supervisor, Construction Project Manager or comparable role.

- A relevant Certificate IV,



Diploma or equivalent demonstrated industry capability.

- Strong working knowledge of the National Construction Code, applicable Australian Standards, residential contracts and construction documentation.

- Proven capability in programming, cost forecasting, variation control, margin protection and project risk management.

- Confident communication, negotiation and conflict resolution, including managing escalated client and stakeholder matters.

- Construction software and reporting capability, a current driver's licence, White Card and any registration or licence required for the role.
