Wellbean Co, a social enterprise of the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation, is looking for a Front of House Supervisor to join our team in a hands-on role focused on batch production, consistency, and kitchen organisation.

The opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role within a structured, supportive environment, offering consistent weekday hours and the chance to genuinely influence how our cafés operate.

How will you do this

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, supporting staff, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service across sites.

You will work closely with the Hospitality Manager, taking ownership of daily service execution, team leadership, and operational standards.

You’ll work across two key areas:

- Main café operations (Toowoomba Hospital Campus)

- Central production hub (Baillie Henderson Campus)

Supervisors rotate between these areas, which encourages:

- Fresh perspective for each location

- Continuous system refinement and improvement

- Broader understanding of the operations

You will do this by….

- Leading front-of-house service during shifts

- Supporting, training, and guiding team members

- Ensuring daily checklists and operational systems are followed

- Managing day-to-day service flow and resolving issues

- Maintaining high standards in presentation, cleanliness, and customer experience

- Managing ordering and stock control for front-of-house operations





- Ensuring all service areas are fully stocked and ready for trade

- Communicating effectively with kitchen and leadership teams

- Identifying opportunities to improve service, workflow, and consistency

About You

- Previous experience in a café or hospitality leadership role

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment

- Organised, reliable, and solutions-focused

- Strong understanding of ordering, stock control, and daily operations

- Enjoys improving systems and processes — not just maintaining them

- Comfortable working across different areas of an operation
