Salary: Up to $124K + Commissions
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – but almost a fully remote role! Barely go into the office
Lead, Coach & Drive Performance We’re looking for an experienced Property Management leader to take ownership of a high-performing team and help drive performance, consistency and growth across the state.
This is a leadership-focused position with no traditional portfolio management responsibilities. Instead, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of under 10 direct reports, providing direction, coaching and support while ensuring strong processes, accountability and results.
You’ll work closely with the broader leadership team, including the GM Manager and other leaders with plenty of support around you.
The Role You’ll play a key role in:
- Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of under 10 Property Management professionals
- Driving performance, accountability and results across the state
- Supporting team members to develop their skills and achieve their goals
- Implementing and maintaining strong processes and procedures
- Ensuring the team operates consistently and efficiently
- Providing guidance around complex tenancy matters and escalations
- Being a subject matter expert when it comes to VCAT and Victorian rental reforms
- Working closely with senior leadership on team performance and business outcomes
- Developing your understanding of revenue and P&L;
- Managing occasional escalated client matters, which may include taking on a small number of properties where required
About You: We’re looking for someone who has already stepped into a leadership capacity within Property Management and genuinely enjoys developing people and improving performance.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience managing and leading direct reports
- Strong Property Management experience
- Excellent knowledge of VCAT and Victorian rental legislation/reforms
- A natural coaching and mentoring style
- Robust understanding of processes, procedures and operational efficiency
- Confidence dealing with escalated client and tenancy matters
- An interest in developing your commercial understanding, particularly around revenue and P&L;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a wider leadership team
