Renshaw's Funeral Services is looking for a Funeral Home Manager to lead our Bathurst operation.

This is an opportunity for an experienced funeral director to step into a leadership role while remaining connected to the part of the industry that matters most — supporting families through some of the most important moments of their lives.

More than just a management role

We're looking for someone who understands funeral service from the ground up.

Someone who knows what it means to answer the phone when a family needs you, coordinate a meaningful farewell, work alongside clergy and celebrants, liaise with cemeteries and crematoriums, prepare for a service, and make sure every detail is taken care of.

You don't necessarily need to have already held a Manager title.

What you'll be doing

As the Bathurst Manager, you'll play an important role in both the day-to-day operation of the funeral home and the experience we provide to our families.

You'll be involved in:

- Supporting and leading the Bathurst team

- Managing funeral arrangements from initial contact through to completion

- Building strong, genuine relationships with families

- Conducting and overseeing funeral services

- Coordinating staff, vehicles, facilities and daily operations

- Maintaining high standards of presentation, care and professionalism

- Working closely with our wider Renshaw's team

- Supporting staff development, training and day-to-day guidance

- Ensuring our processes and compliance requirements are maintained





- Helping continue to build Renshaw's reputation within the Bathurst community

Who we're looking for

We're particularly interested in hearing from experienced funeral directors who are ready for their next challenge.

You might already be a senior funeral director, team leader or someone others naturally turn to for guidance.

Or perhaps you've never formally managed a funeral home but have the experience, maturity and confidence to take that step.

You'll bring:

- Previous experience working as a funeral director

- A genuine understanding of funeral service and the needs of grieving families

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Confidence working independently and making decisions

- Strong organisation and attention to detail

- A calm and professional approach, particularly when things don't go to plan

- The ability to lead, support and motivate a team

- A genuine commitment to providing families with exceptional care

Management experience is highly regarded, but we're also open to the right funeral director who is ready to develop into the role.
