Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit a Lawyer or Senior Associate to join its growing Planning & Environment team in Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity to work across a broad mix of planning, environmental and Land & Environment Court matters, advising both government and private sector clients on complex litigation, regulatory and advisory work. The Role

Working within a highly regarded Planning & Environment practice, you will advise on a broad range of matters, including:

- Land and Workplace Court litigation
- Planning and environmental law advice
- Statutory interpretation and development approvals
- Environmental compliance and contamination issues
- Development contributions and planning agreements
- Drafting works-in-kind agreements and other government contracts




- Advising government agencies and private developers on complex planning and regulatory issues

About You

You will have:

- 2+ years' post-admission experience in planning, environment or property-related law
- Experience or a genuine interest in Land & Environment Court litigation
- Robust analytical, research and statutory interpretation skills
- Excellent drafting and written communication abilities
- A collaborative approach and strong attention to detail
- A desire to build a long-term career in planning and environmental law
