Senior Network Project Manager – Mobile Core Program

Overview

This role will work in the Customer’s Network Engineering group, which is responsible for the core of the Customer’s Existing Network, including 4G/5G packet, data & voice core, messaging services, real-time services, cloud infrastructure.

This role is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. It is a full-time senior Project manager role and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several of the Customer’s projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

- Focuses on completing a project as efficiently and promptly as possible
- Managing several projects concurrently
- Leading project meetings, steering committee meetings and planning sessions
- Coordinating staff and internal resources
- Managing project progress and adapt work as required
- Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Designing and signing off on contracts
- Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
- Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
- Managing large and diverse teams





Qualifications and requirements

- Five or more years’ experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry, with formal qualifications in a related field
- Background working in telecommunications core network (preferred)
- Skills: written and verbal communication, ability to manage high-stress situations, multi-tasking, leadership, attention to detail, and technical understanding of telecommunications networks
