NES Fircroft is partnering with a global leader in industrial automation and instrumentation solutions to recruit a Sales Support Specialist for their Brisbane-based team on an initial 6-month hourly rate contract, with a strong view to permanent employment. This is an internal sales support role working closely with a small, high-performing team, including two external Sales Engineers, supporting customers across mining, water, wastewater, and industrial sectors.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Brisbane Sales Manager, you will:

- Act as the primary internal sales support for the external Sales Engineers
- Manage inbound customer enquiries and provide technical support
- Prepare and issue quotations, follow up with clients, and process orders
- Assist with project-related sales and gradually become involved in tender requests




- Help streamline day-to-day sales administration and operations

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Strong background in instrumentation and automation applications
- Experience handling technical customer enquiries and understanding client requirements
- Ability to prepare quotes, manage orders, and follow up effectively
- A proactive, self-driven approach with robust organisational skills
- Experience from automation/controls companies such as Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, Emerson or similar (highly regarded)
- Industry exposure to mining, energy, water or industrial environments (preferred)
