About the opportunity
Provide quality, person-centred Physiotherapy clinical care and day-to-day leadership in the sub-acute GEM and inpatient rehabilitation ward as well as supporting more junior physiotherapists weekend rosters as required.

- Grade 3 Physiotherapist, Permanent Full-time (up to 1.0 EFT available)
- Provides quality, person-centred physiotherapy clinical care to the allocated caseload, ensuring a holistic and multidisciplinary team approach.
- Provides clinical leadership and oversight as well as day-to-day clinical leadership in the clinical area
- Supports and supervises grade 2 and 1 physiotherapists and students
- Supportive and friendly physiotherapy and multidisciplinary team at Werribee Mercy Hospital
What you'll bring
- AHPRA-recognised degree in Physiotherapy with full, unlimited AHPRA physiotherapy registration
- Broad and relevant clinical physiotherapy experience ideally in a hospital setting including in sub-acute inpatient care
- Ideally minimum seven years physiotherapy clinical experience as well as experience in supervising junior physiotherapists and leading a small clinical team
- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills,
with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a cooperative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- A current, full Victorian Drivers Licence (or equivalent)
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
