Odyssey Plumbing & Drainage (OPD) is looking for motivated 2nd and 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentices to join our team in Laverton, working on our production line installing plumbing systems and fixtures within prefabricated bathroom PODS.

At OPD, we believe apprentices should be given the opportunity to learn the trade properly, gain hands-on experience and take on more responsibility as they progress. Our goal is to develop our apprentices into confident, capable and reliable plumbers who take pride in their workmanship and understand the importance of quality, productivity and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

- Plumbing rough-ins
- Fit-offs
- Sanitary plumbing and drainage
- Testing and commissioning
- Reading plans and specifications
- Pipework installation and pipefitting
- Using hand and power tools
- QA inspections and checking your own workmanship

About you

- Currently completing 2nd or 3rd Year Plumbing Apprenticeship
- Strong work ethic
- Consistent and punctual attendance
- Willing to listen, learn and improve
- Can take direction from plumbers, supervisors and team leaders
- Work well as part of a team
- Willing to take responsibility for work
- Understand the importance of workplace safety

- Basic hand tools

- Reliable transport

- Full-time, ongoing employment
