We’re looking for a talented Senior UX/UI Designer to help shape intuitive, user-centered digital experiences used every day in hospitals and aged-care facilities across Australia. In this role, you’ll turn insights into high-quality UX and UI design, elevate usability, and ensure our digital products meet the needs of clinicians, patients, residents, and care teams.
As our Senior UX/UI Designer, you’ll lead the end-to-end experience design process—from research and insight gathering through to interface design, prototyping, testing, and refinement. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are functional, accessible, and beautifully crafted.
What you will be responsible for:
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analytics reviews to uncover user needs, behaviors, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences aligned with the product roadmap.
- Create high-quality UX/UI designs, prototypes, and visual assets using tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure design fidelity and feasibility.
- Contribute to and uphold our design systems to maintain consistency across our digital ecosystem.
- Communicate design rationale, user insights, and interaction flows clearly to stakeholders.
- Participate in Go-To-Market initiatives where required and contribute to organisational KPIs
What we're looking for:
- Empathetic, insight-driven, and passionate about solving user problems
- Creative, detail-oriented, and consistent in your design execution
- Comfortable facilitating research, workshops, and usability testing
- A strong collaborator and communicator across technical and non-technical teams
- Curious, adaptable, and proactive in staying across emerging design tools and trends
- Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines
- Tertiary qualification in Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or similar
- Training or certification in UX/UI methodologies (highly desirable)
- Strong proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
- Accessibility (WCAG), Responsive layouts designed for mobile, web applications, Smart TVs, and touchscreen interfaces.
- Hands‑on experience with user research and usability testing
- Experience contributing to design systems and working in agile delivery environments
- A foundational understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, components, and design tokens.
- Experience working in healthcare industry ideal but not required.
