The Position

Position Title: Lead Clinician
Classification: NP81-NP74, YB24 - YB27, YC46 - YC49, PK1-PK4
Salary per hour (exc. super): $56.73 - $63.01, $48.45 - $55.69,$47.81 - $54.10
Hours per fortnight: Upto64 - 80 Hours (Including an ADO every 4 weeks if working 80 hours)
Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time and Part Time positions available

The Youth Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Service delivers Tier 3 clinical care to young people (18–25 years) experiencing complex mental health challenges — including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, early psychosis, personality disorders, and co-occurring drug and alcohol issues.

Based at our Bendigo service hub (with outreach across the region and Bendigo YPARC), our team provides comprehensive assessment, outreach treatment, and ongoing care. We also support carers, professionals, and the wider community through education and collaboration.

Our mission:

- Reduce untreated mental illness among young people
- Shorten the duration of untreated episodes
- Deliver phase-specific, evidence-based treatment
- Support recovery, reduce hospital admissions, and strengthen community connections
- Partner with carers and service providers for holistic care
