Head Pastry Chef | $85K - $100k + Super | Excellent Roster & Culture

An exciting opportunity is available for a talented Head Pastry Chef to take ownership of a well-established pastry operation within a professional, supportive hospitality environment.

This role would suit an experienced Head Pastry Chef looking for their next move, or equally, a strong Pastry Sous Chef ready to step into their first Head Pastry Chef position with the support and structure to succeed.

Working across à la carte dining, afternoon tea and events, you will lead a small pastry team while maintaining consistently high standards across production, presentation and service.

The Role

- Lead the day-to-day operation of the pastry kitchen
- Manage, train and develop a small pastry team
- Deliver high-quality pastry and dessert offerings across à la carte, afternoon tea and events
- Maintain excellent standards of presentation, consistency and execution
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal changes
- Manage ordering, stock control, wastage and food costs
- Ensure strong food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Work collaboratively with the wider culinary and management team
- Maintain an organised, professional and positive kitchen environment

About You





You will be a skilled pastry professional with a strong knowledge of both classic and contemporary desserts, supported by excellent technical foundations and attention to detail. Previous experience within à la carte restaurants, afternoon tea and events or functions is essential, along with the confidence to manage a small team and take ownership of the pastry operation.

Experience as a Head Pastry Chef would be highly regarded, however this is also an excellent opportunity for a talented Pastry Sous Chef ready to step up into a leadership position.
