What does the job look like?
Join our Auburn operation as a Warehouse Supervisor and take the lead of our PM shift team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Based at Percy Street, you'll lead a team of approximately 20 employees within a high-volume warehouse environment, providing visible leadership and driving a strong culture of safety, accountability and performance. This role is ideal for a hands on leader who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, coaching teams, building engagement and ensuring operational targets are achieved. Key areas:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing warehouse team to deliver daily operational plans safely and efficiently.
- Oversee picking, loading and dispatch activities, ensuring service, quality and productivity targets are achieved.
- Build a culture of accountability through coaching, mentoring and regular performance conversations.
- Role model strong safety leadership and ensure compliance with WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Monitor operational performance and implement practical actions to improve productivity and service outcomes.
- Manage workforce planning, rostering and task allocation to meet daily operational requirements.
- Drive inventory accuracy and support effective warehouse processes and controls.
- Partner with key stakeholders to support smooth shift execution and continuous improvement initiatives.

You can build strong team relationships while maintaining high standards, challenge unsafe behaviours and create an environment where people are engaged, accountable and motivated to perform. You bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and can confidently navigate the day-to-day challenges of a fast-paced warehouse operation.
- 3+ years' experience leading teams within a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment.
- Strong operational leadership skills with experience managing larger frontline teams.
- Hands-on experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and manage team performance.
- Robust communication,
stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
- Sound knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
- A strong focus on operational performance, KPI achievement and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, loading delays and inventory discrepancies.
- High Risk Work Licence (Forklift) highly regarded
