About the role

A leading Queensland Government Department is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver public housing projects across procurement, design and construction phases. This role requires strong stakeholder management capability and the ability to translate design objectives into practical construction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complex stakeholder relationships and ensure design intent is clearly translated into deliverable construction outcomes
- Drive public housing projects through from concept to completion including procurement, design, construction and implementation stages
- Oversee project programs and budgets, ensuring all work remains within scope and aligned to strategic objectives
- Manage contract administration across a range of delivery approaches
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors to deliver agreed project outcomes




- Maintain strong engagement with clients and stakeholders to support clear communication and effective project delivery
- Deliver projects within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality expectations
- Track and report on project performance, including costs, progress and risk controls

About You

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- A skilled who excels at managing complex stakeholder relationships and interpreting design objectives into deliverable construction outcomes.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word and Excel
- Tertiary qualification in project management, construction, engineering, architecture or a related field (Diploma or higher)
- Valid Queensland Class C Open Driver Licence
