What a day in the life looks like:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to identify, investigate and analyse processes, procedures and practices and formulate business requirements where necessary.
- Troubleshoot WMS, Windows OS, SQL Server, SSRS reports, and third‑party software issues.
- Manage WMS environments, configure migrations between environments,
identify and evaluate inefficiencies.
- Perform WMS data administration (users, menus, zones, locations, pick/put‑away sequences).
- Create, adopt, implement, modify system functional solutions and enhance reports using Dashboard, SSRS, and Crystal Reports.
- Using data, design and implement enhancements to customer WMS environments for internal implementation teams.
- Monitor SQL performance, tune queries, and optimise indexes.
- Interface with customers, IT teams, project leaders, and vendors for support and implementation.
- Act as an SME to quantify and escalated issues with supporting data to ERP vendors or third parties to aid decision making.
- Mentor and develop operations team members on WMS tools and processes by creating user and training documentation.
What you bring to the team:
- Degree in Computer Science, BA/BS, or equivalent.
- Strong communication, listening, and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload.
- Proficient in MS SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and familiar with IIS and stored procedures.
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and basic networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTPS, SMTP, DNS).
- Versatile for rotational on‑call support; supply chain knowledge is a plus.
Salary Range: 80‑90 K AUD
