MEDITECH Australia are looking for a Billing Application Specialist to join their energetic growing Team in Sydney.

The main purpose of this position is to be able to support customers and colleagues with aspects relating to specific MEDITECH System Application(s) i.e. troubleshooting, processing requests, demonstrations, tender responses and implementation support.

The requirements for the role are as follows :

- Tertiary degree or diploma in the relevant field of work or considerable experience in healthcare information systems software support.
- At least 3 years professional experience in a financial environment.

The main responsibilities include :

Client Services

- Troubleshooting, researching, and resolving customer software and system problems.
- Communication with programmers and customers,



at all levels to ensure continuous feedback regarding status of incidents. Clarification of customer requirements, and regular feedback regarding incident status.
- Advising users on issues related to the Application(s) and more appropriate ways of using the Application(s) in line with the customer’s business processes.
- Training and presentations
- Provide on-site and in-house training in specialist areas to ensure better understanding and usage of the MEDITECH system.
- Proactively identify when knowledge sharing is needed and share actively amongst colleagues and Clients.
