Canteen is all about supporting young people and their families affected by cancer. Founded by young cancer patients, we offer programs and resources that truly make a difference for 12-25 year-olds facing their own diagnosis, supporting a loved one, or grieving. We are now seeking a Community Fundraising and Events Specialist who will play a pivotal role in acquiring, growing and retaining one-off supporters. This role offers an opportunity make a real impact within theMarketing and Engagement team and be part of an organisation that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Base Salary + Superannuation + Not-For-Profit Salary Packaging (up to $18,550 of your salary tax-free).

About Our Role

- Assist with the development of the Third-Party Fundraising, Bandanna Day and Challenge event strategies, in consultation with the Community Engagement Manager and Head of Marketing and Engagement.
- Act as the key national contact for all Third-Party fundraisers and event participants, responsible for their stewardship and assisting them in achieving success in their fundraising activities. Coordinate the development and delivery of the portfolio's supporter communication plans.
- Assistwith the sourcing and production of contentfor campaigns,including SEO,socialand email. Content includes but not limited to, campaign imagery (photoshoots), video content,casestudiesand Canteen impact data
- Review and evaluate the execution of plans/campaigns, providing regular reporting on registrations, fundraisingincomeand participant engagement and develop post campaign reports.

About You

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Fundraising, Marketing or Customer Support role
- Proven experience in operational campaign delivery, including project management, marketing plans and execution, and reporting
- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience
- Demonstrated experience working with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM
- Previous copywriting experience
- Demonstrated project management skills
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Warm, compassionate, and friendly approach to supporting our young people.

Employment Expectations

- Successfully complete and maintain a current National Police Check and Working with Child Check relevant to the individual’s state jurisdiction.
- Undergo an extensive screening process prior to appointment to guarantee the safety of all Canteen’s stakeholders.
- Provide at least two direct referees to ensure a successful reference check is completed.
- Provide relevant copies of professional qualification/s stated on the application.
