We are seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator who excels in contract management, thrives in decision‑making, and is dedicated to delivering successful project outcomes. A strong understanding of construction processes, a process‑driven approach, exceptional attention to detail, a cooperative attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and schedule procurement of materials and subcontractors, providing recommendations to the Project Manager.
- Develop subcontractor scopes of work aligned with the main Design and Construct contract.
- Oversee subcontract management including processing payment claims and final accounts.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with QDC's safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of project variations.
- Monitor and report on costs, progress, and scheduling, including subcontractor payments.
- Prepare comprehensive contract documentation and procedures from concept to commissioning, ideally with exposure to Tier One construction projects.
- Support technical, practical, and safety aspects of industrial and commercial projects up to $110 M in value.
- Act as a technical contributor on‑site, collaborating with Project Managers,



Site Supervisors, and Subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to high‑quality standards.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction environment, preferably in a Contracts Administrator or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Site experience on commercial and industrial building projects up to $110 M.
- Knowledge of Australian Building Codes, Standards, and Regulations.
- Strong understanding of contract management principles, program financial management, risk management, and performance reporting.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
