and servicing on heavy vehicles, trucks, and trailers.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailersDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faultsCarry out engine, brake, suspension, and drivetrain repairsEnsure all work meets compliance, safety, and manufacturer standardsMaintain accurate service records and documentationSupport workshop operations, including parts checking and vehicle movementAssist with breakdown response when requiredMaintain a clean, safe, and compliant workshop environmentSupport and mentor apprentices where requiredQualifications & ExperienceTrade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsExperience working with trucks, trailers, or mixed fleetsHR licence (desirable)Strong commitment to workplace safety
