About the role
An exciting and varied role, our Speech Pathology graduate program is designed to build on your existing skills, experience and confidence and provide support to grow your speech pathology clinical skills beyond graduation. Our program focuses on providing a quality clinical program to support a range of clients (children and adults) with assessment, diagnosis, therapy and management of all forms of communication disorders.
Key responsibilities
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, therapy and management of communication disorders for children and adults
- Participate in comprehensive induction into the company, role and team
- Engage in service delivery training including systems, administration and procedures
- Receive regular 1:1 clinical support and mentoring from your designated Team Leader / Mentor
- Participate in weekly team meetings and ongoing team support
- Manage a reduced caseload over the first 6 months
- Undertake designated case management and clinical administration time
- Participate in shadowing and observation opportunities with experienced clinicians
- Engage in professional learning and personal development
About you
- Graduating from a Speech Pathology degree in 2026
- Passion for working in a collaborative and supportive multi-disciplinary team focused on evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and time management skills
- Ability to obtain full membership of Speech Pathology Australia prior to commencement
- Ability to obtain a Disability Worker Screening clearance (Yellow Card) and Working with Children check (Blue Card) prior to commencement, and ability to obtain a Medicare Provider number
- Current open driver's licence is highly desirable, as is the ability to travel to other sites as required
- Ability to show initiative and strong problem-solving skills when making clinical decisions, including seeking additional support from experienced clinicians when needed
- Demonstrated flexibility to adjust to a varied clinical caseload
- Willingness to take ownership of professional learning and personal development
