About the role
Ramsay Agriculture, based in Bothwell, is seeking a committed individual to join our team.
We are a family-owned farming business operating 550 ha of pivot and linear irrigation, growing a range of crops and finishing lambs.
Our livestock enterprise includes breeding from 4,000 ewes and finishing approximately 9,000 lambs each year.
In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day livestock work across the farm under the direction of our experienced farm manager.
The role is assisted part time by another farm hand.
The role would be ideal for someone who enjoys livestock, has some experience, and wants to grow their skills.
There is potential for the incumbent to move into a management role in time.
On occasions this role will be required to assist with stock operations and fencing.




Accommodation and a vehicle may be provided for the right applicant.
Essential
Previous stock experience and able to source a working dog.
Current drivers license
Robust work ethic
Ability to work with direction, autonomously and as a team member
Ability to work the hours needed, including weekends during busy periods
Willingness to use technology (agriwebb, trutest, planning apps)
Motivation to work in agriculture long term
