As part of a newly established national billing function, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's revenue operations and partnering closely with Partners, Fee Earners and internal stakeholders.Working within a cooperative and supportive Finance team, this is an ideal opportunity for an experienced legal billing professional looking to join a globally recognised organisation with genuine long-term growth opportunities.The ChallengeReporting to the Billing Team Leader,



your key responsibilities will include:Managing the end-to-end billing process across a portfolio of matters and clientsPreparing and issuing client invoices accurately and efficientlyWorking closely with Partners and Fee Earners to resolve billing queries and deliver timely outcomesManaging WIP reviews, billing adjustments and complex reconciliationsSupporting e-billing processes and ensuring compliance with client requirementsInvestigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and client queriesMaintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple officesIdentifying process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and service deliveryThe ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:Previous billing experience within a law firm / qualified services environmentStrong understanding of WIP management and billing processesExperience managing complex billing requirements and stakeholder relationshipsExcellent attention to detail with robust analytical and problem-solving skillsThe ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholdersExperience using finance systems such as SAP will be highly regardedIntermediate Excel skills and strong systems confidence
