Principal Business Analyst (Health Manager Level 4)
Location: Chatswood, NSW, Australia. This full‑time, on‑site role offers a temporary exempt contract of up to 12 months with hybrid flexibility for work‑life balance. Salary: AU$147,653.00 plus 12% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading.
About the Role
Join eHealth NSW as a Principal Business Analyst in our End User Compute Programme. You will lead business analysis activities across strategic technology initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project delivery partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation for End User Device projects and workstreams.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and engagement activities to identify business needs, priorities, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop high‑quality business analysis artefacts, including BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, and business cases.
- Collaborate with technical teams, architects, vendors, and project stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.
- Support solution delivery through design, testing, business readiness, implementation, and transition to business‑as‑usual operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Principal Business Analyst delivering complex technology or digital transformation programs.
- Strong capability in requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement, and business process analysis across multiple workstreams.
- Demonstrated experience producing high‑quality business analysis artefacts, including BRDs, functional specifications, and process maps.
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Experience in large, complex environments delivering technology initiatives such as Microsoft365, Cloud, Infrastructure, or End User Device programs, with knowledge of Agile, PRINCE2, PMBOK, or similar methodologies and relevant certifications.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this role you must have current Australian work rights (Australian citizen, permanent resident, NewZealand citizen with a current passport, or hold a valid visa with permission to work in Australia). This position is an exempt contract of more than 13 weeks. If you currently reside outside NSW, you must indicate willingness to relocate.
