Project Manager / Business Analyst - AI / ML
We’re hiring a Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst to join a growing Tech AI team within a global quantitative trading firm.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, AI, and business operations - driving projects that modernise internal systems using generative AI and machine learning.
What you’ll do
As this role sits within a newly formed, small team, it will initially be a hybrid position combining project management and business analysis. As the team scales, the scope and responsibilities may evolve over time.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and ML initiatives, from discovery and requirements through to build, rollout, and adoption in live environments
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineers, and data teams, ensuring clarity on scope, feasibility, and delivery outcomes
- Translate business and operational needs into explicit technical requirements, user stories, and delivery plans for AI-driven solutions
- Work closely with engineers on GPT-based workflows, RAG architectures, automation, and agent-style processes, ensuring solutions are scalable and production-ready
- Manage delivery plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and third-party vendors, with a focus on reliability and execution quality
- Drive process improvements across AI development and deployment, including tooling, governance, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
- Communicate progress, trade-offs, and outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders
What we’re looking for
- A minimum 5+ years’ experience in project management & business analysis roles within financial services, trading, or large-scale technology environments, with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in high-performance, regulated, or mission-critical settings.
- Experience delivering AI or ML solutions in a commercial or enterprise environment, where outcomes were tied to operational efficiency, decision-making, or system improvement (not purely experimental work).
- Hands‑on involvement translating business problems into applied AI solutions such as GPT-powered workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), automation, or agent-style processes.
- Exposure to end-to-end AI implementation, including requirements gathering, vendor or tooling evaluation, rollout, adoption, and iteration in live environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working across SDLC in technical environments
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or similar
At this stage, visa sponsorship or relocation is not available for this role. Must have full working rights.
