BUILDING / CONSTRUCTION LABOURER – Full-time

We are looking for hard-working and highly motivated people to join our growing Team as Building / Construction Labourers.

About us:

Sustainable is a small Design & Construction company with over 40 years’ experience in delivering award-winning, design-led sustainable homes across Brisbane, south-east QLD and northern NSW.

About the role:

We present an opportunity for you to develop and share your much needed skills as main support to our Sustainable Construction Team.

Your general day-to-day roles will include, but not limited to:

- Practical skill and knowledge as main support to site Carpenters and occasional sub-contractors
- General building labouring duties (i.e., loading and unloading materials, digging holes, cleaning sites, retrieving and preparing site equipment, site works required for site prep and set out, concreting, assisting team members with carpentry projects, using power tools and machinery as required, miscellaneous labouring works as requested, etc.)
- At times, you will be required to operate utes and small-medium trucks
- You will report to the company CEO or the authorised site supervisor

Role Suitability:

We are ideally looking for long-term relationships with individuals who are keen to work within a team environment to learn and contribute.

Your experience in the building/construction and/or landscaping field,



along with your strong practical understanding, common sense, mechanical mind and task-oriented mindset will be best suited to this position.

Role Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (preferably a ute)
- Basic trade tools (a list will be outlined if given the opportunity for a meeting)
- Valid White Card (or be eligible to obtain this)
- (*Preferred, not required immediately) Hold a minimum light rigid (LR) (and/or medium rigid (MR)) licence or be eligible to acquire one

Hours: Consistent weekly workload of a minimum of 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday (no weekends).

- Brisbane, QLD (The Gap, Upper Kedron, Carbrook, West Brisbane suburbs)
- Warwick, QLD
