Job Description
About the Role
As Manager, FundFinancialReporting,you will take ownershipof theaccurateandtimelydelivery of financial statements,distributionsandregulatoryreporting across our managed fundportfolio. This is ahands-onrole whereyou’llpersonallyprepareandreview key reporting deliverables, including financialstatements,distributionsand ICR calculations, and BAS/GST/RITC workpapers.
Working closely with Fund Accounting, Tax, external auditors,trusteesand tax agents, you will ensure reporting meetsCorporationsAct, AASB and ASIC requirements. You will alsohave the opportunity toestablishand shape the function, withadditionalanalystsupportintroduced as our fundportfoliocontinues to grow.
Keyresponsibilitiesinclude
- Own production and review of periodic and annual financial statements for managed funds prepared inAccuri, ensuring compliance with AASB, Corporations Act and ASIC disclosure requirements.
- Reconcile reporting outputs to the accounting and reporting books of record (ABOR/MBOR) in FISInvestOne.
- Manage distribution calculations including income and taxcomponents, andproduce AMMA/AMIT statements.
- Prepare and review ICR (Indirect Cost Ratio) calculations and fund cost disclosures,
with distribution and reporting work papers fully reconciled to accounting records.
- Own BAS, GST and RITC calculations, workpapersand lodgement, coordinating sign-off with the Senior Tax Manager and clients’ trustees and tax agents.
- Support reasonableness testing and period-end tax reporting.
- Coordinate the financial statement audit process as primary auditor liaison, ensuring clean audit outcomes.
- Establishreporting controls, calendars and templates, and support onboarding and transition of new client reporting into the operating model.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you!
You'llbring:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; CA/CPA qualified or well progressed
- Demonstrated experience in fund reporting/fund accounting within fund administration or asset management
- Hands-on experience preparing financial statements,distributionsand ICR for managed funds, including BAS/GST/RITC and audit coordination
- Strong technical accounting and disclosure knowledge, with high attention to detail and review discipline
- Confidence working with clients,auditorsand other key stakeholders
- The ability to balance reporting quality,efficiencyand positiveclient outcomes
- Experienceusingfinancialreporting platforms such asAccuriand FISInvestOnealong withadvanceExcelskills.
