The Opportunity:

The Warrnambool Racing Club (WRC) is looking to hire an ‘Operations Coordinator’ that loves working in a team and is a proactive go-getter. The opportunity allows the successful candidate to take advantage of:

About Us:

We are a respectful, hard-working group with a passion for what we do. The team at the WRC are responsible for:

- Delivering world-class events - we’re tipping you’ve heard of the May Racing Carnival!

- Operating the largest horse training facility in Southwest Victoria.

- Managing several highly engaged function spaces.

The Role:

This role is primarily responsible for the delivery of the WRC’s race day and non-race day events and functions.



The successful candidate will have knowledge of and, ideally, a passion for events. You will have the ability to provide support in all aspects of the Club’s operations, where:

- You have experience working in a dynamic environment where organisation matters.

- You have amazing customer service which you consider a vital aspect of any role.

- You love analysing different aspects of the business and crunching the numbers.

- You’ll enjoy the opportunity to work with a fabulous group of Club sponsors.

- You are excited at the prospect of working on our key events.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, cheerful and efficient, enjoys a variety of work and can communicate well at all levels. High attention to detail and good time management are essential.
