About the role

We are seeking an experienced ROC Operator to join our Perth operations team. Working on a 7/7 day-night rotating roster, you will play a central role in ensuring safe, reliable, and effective operations of LNG facilities and hybrid power systems. This is a unique opportunity to apply your process knowledge in a dynamic control room environment without FIFO travel.

Key responsibilities

- Monitor and control LNG production systems (cryogenic storage, amine, refrigeration, flare, BOG compressors) remotely

- Operate hybrid power assets including Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), Jenbacher, Cummins and MTU gas engines, and diesel backup generation

- Respond to alarms, abnormal conditions, and process upsets with calm, decisive actions

- Support site teams during startups, shutdowns, and maintenance

- Maintain accurate logs, shift handovers, and incident reports

- Uphold safety, compliance, and business ethics always

- Participate in continuous improvement of automation, safety, and operational efficiency

About you

- Previous control room / central control room (CCR/ROC) experience in LNG, oil & gas, or power generation





- Strong understanding of process safety, PTW systems, and emergency response

- High situational awareness and decision-making under pressure

- Excellent communication with remote site teams and leadership

- Certificate III/IV in Process Plant Operations or equivalent qualifications desirable

- Commitment to safety, integrity, and teamwork
