About the role

As a Cook / Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food in a kitchen that operates 7 days a week. You will work with a variety of fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking food

- Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding garnishes and sauces

- Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared in a timely manner

- Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu

- Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures





- Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation

- Assisting with menu changes when required

- Kitchen Cleaning and Hygiene duties
