PR Water Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated company specialising in the rental of water and environmental equipment as well as providing specialised water clarification advice Australia wide.

Due to rapid growth within PR Water, an opportunity has arisen for a Water & Environmental Technician to join our national team to establish and grow our business in Adelaide, South Australia with the support of our Victoria branch.

About the role:

This role will be hands on while developing and managing new business opportunities within the Mining, Utilities and Civil & Construction industries. The role will require specialist knowledge of the range of PR Water's water management equipment, as you will be required to provide rental solutions for our existing and new customers in these markets.

Specifically, you will be called upon to offer product advice for water treatment solutions, mud tracking, biosecurity solutions and dust suppression solutions, as well as problem solving skills for various water management related projects. The job will require you to be hands on and have sound technical aptitude. Having knowledge of the Mining, Construction & Utilities industries within South Australia will be highly desirable. You will also be required to manage and maintain a small rental fleet we maintain to support our customers hire requirements.

The successful candidate should also be able to demonstrate:

- Prior experience in capital equipment hire into the mining, civil & construction and utilities industries is highly desirable.

- Experience with water treatment equipment such as dewatering systems,



pipe flocculators, settlement units, silt separators and chemical dosing systems is highly desirable.

- A solid understanding with of water treatment and testing techniques such as pH adjustment, jar testing, solid removal and clarification and coagulant/flocculant dose rates is highly desirable.

- Knowledge and experience of civil & construction and mining pump applications is highly desirable.

- The ability to work on sites when required. Establish plant, commissioning & ongoing maintenance.

- The ability to lift hoses, pumps and other heavy items when needed.

- The ability to provide clients with technical and commercial guidance in water treatment management.

- Experience/understanding of telemetry management and controls wiring (4-20mA – 0-5V) for communication systems would be highly valued.

You will help development and increase share of the business within South Australia. The successful candidate will need to be 'hands on' and demonstrate a positive attitude and drive, as you will be looking for new opportunities to promote our water treatment systems and other equipment, whilst continuing to support existing customers and their requirements. Candidates with a degree as an Environmental Engineer or equivalent and who can promote sales through their knowledge of water treatment solutions and understanding of our product range will be well suited to this role.

A current driver's licence is also essential as you will be required to travel to sites.

This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week with a company vehicle provided.
